Eating

We have a passion for vegetarian food. We love growing, harvesting, preparing, cooking and serving it. We aim for delicious, local, and for salads and vegetables, that means grown at Grey Craig’s Cottage just round the corner, home-made and organic – it’s not always possible to get all four but that’s our aim. We offer groups full board and individuals a continental self-service breakfast buffet and when possible lunch and dinner booked in advance. There is a guest fridge where you can store your own perishables and although we are unable to offer cooking facilities there is a microwave for reheating food. We can cater for gluten, diary free & vegan diets by donation. We are happy to discuss dietary needs and might suggest you bring any special food items that you rely on with you.

  • fresh fruit bowl – nuts – dried fruits
  • porridge – soft boiled eggs
  • toasted home-made breads
  • local home-made jams – preserves – honey

Lunch Buffet

  •       carrot & coriander soup with oatcakes/freshly made bread
  •       fresh green salad with a zesty mustard dressing
  •       egg mayonnaise with a twist/home made hummus
  •       toasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds

Dinner Buffet

  • cauliflower gado gado
  • stir fry greens with coconut, ginger and tamari
  • turmeric basmati rice
  • CTL fruit pots
  • Soft drinks/juices are served with dinner and you can bring your own wine
